On Thursday, April 9, 2015, Mark presented a program to the Surgical Grand Rounds at The Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania, on the topic of “The Apology Rule.” Mark discussed the Benevolent Gesture Medical Professional Liability Act and its implications for medical providers in Pennsylvania.

Tim Holland obtained a defense verdict for doctor in Monroe County in a Depakote/Liver toxicity case.  The case involved the claim that the defendants physicians failed to order frequent liver function testing for the patient.   The defense was that liver function testing is indicated every six months in the absence of clinical symptoms of hepatitis.  […]

Neil Wenner obtains defense verdict for gynecologist in jury trial held in Schuylkill County
